Yesterday I took my little girl, Vi to the “Little Norway” public ice rink in Selinsgrove, PA. It is free to skate and they have free skates to wear too. Also in the building at the edge of the ice is a snack bar with snacks, drinks and even homemade french fries and hot dogs as well as hot chocolate and coffee!
It was Vl’s first time skating and so I didn’t wear skates myself since I have not skated in a very long time. I took the opportunity of going to the rink to create a small 360 degree tour for Google Maps. As a Google “Trusted Photographer” I am able to do these interlinked 360 degree tours for businesses and other places such as public buildings and parks. The latter category I do as a free service just to enable more people to get a virtual preview of a place.
This shoot was a challenge because the sky, ice and snow were all of a similar color. I did my best to adjust it a bit in post production and it didn’t turn out too badly. Give me a call today if you want to enable this kind of tour for your business 570-541-6812!
